User Data Deletion Instructions

Effective date: 14 July 2026 · Last updated: 14 July 2026
These instructions explain how users and workspace administrators can request deletion of data associated with NOZOM Chat.

1. What you can request

Depending on your role and the data involved, you may request:

  • deletion of a user account;
  • deletion of a workspace / organization account;
  • disconnection or removal of a connected messaging channel;
  • removal of Meta / WhatsApp Business integration configuration from NOZOM Chat;
  • deletion or anonymization of associated personal data stored by NOZOM Chat, where applicable.

2. How to submit a deletion request

  1. Email [email protected].
  2. Use the subject line: NOZOM Chat Data Deletion Request.
  3. Include the requester’s full name and the email address used with NOZOM Chat.
  4. Identify the workspace or organization name if known.
  5. State clearly what should be deleted (account, workspace, channel connection, conversations, contacts, or other specific personal data).
  6. If the request relates to Meta/WhatsApp linkage, include the connected business phone number or WhatsApp Business identifiers you are authorized to manage, if available.

3. Workspace administrators

If your organization operates a NOZOM Chat workspace, contact your workspace administrator as well. Administrators can often remove users, disconnect channels, and manage conversation data within the product permissions available to them. End customers who messaged a business through WhatsApp or another channel should contact that business directly for requests about content controlled by the business workspace.

4. Identity verification

To protect against unauthorized deletion, we may ask for reasonable verification that you control the account, email address, workspace, or channel related to the request. We may decline or limit a request when we cannot verify authorization or when another lawful ground requires retention.

5. What happens after you request deletion

  • We review the request and verify identity or administrative authority.
  • We delete or anonymize eligible personal data from primary NOZOM Chat systems.
  • Channel disconnection removes integration configuration from NOZOM Chat; Meta or WhatsApp may still retain data under their own policies and your Meta Business settings.
  • Some records may be retained where legally required, needed for security/fraud prevention, needed for billing disputes, or retained briefly in backups or logs that are later overwritten according to normal cycles.
  • We do not promise a fixed completion deadline in all cases, but we aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe after verifying the request.

6. In-product controls

Authorized workspace administrators may be able to disconnect channels, remove users, or manage conversation data using administrative features available in their plan and role permissions. Where a self-service control is unavailable, use the email process above.
